Death Penalty

The death penalty has always been controversial, but even more so in recent years. In fact it appears one major newspaper, the Chicago Tribune, has made abolition of the death penalty their “cause celebre.” Others are following in their footsteps.

This section will focus on some of the falsehoods used by death penalty opponents to support their cause. It will also show how they attempt to manipulate public opinion by contrived, inaccurate, and incomplete information.
